    A question I haven’t heard Jim answer.

Why is he so good at making long term predictions but he’s “hopeless” in the short term?

  4. Guitarlicks4free says:

w00t, jim rogers is the man!

  5. benjleeru says:

most great economists know what will happen, not when. Timing is usually nonsensical because you can’t time predictions when governments decide to regularly intervene. The best investors establish a good value, buy below it, sell above it.

The chick is hot, what’s her last name? And why would people doubt Jim? Has he not proven himself correct more often than not.

  7. pntrain5 says:

Short term is manipulated and technical…he doesn’t look at technical, only fundamental.

When playing hockey, why are some people better goalies than forwards? It’s a different aspect of the same game. If you’re going to be great at something, it means focusing on one area. Mr Rogers focuses on the long term.

  10. campeona5 says:

You are correct Jim…Silver will be HUGE!

  11. Entropy137 says:

Because the short terms is governed by a combination of emotions and central bank/government action.

Asian chick is Hot! Hot! Hot! But like other female interviewers, she still doesnt have a clue what she is talking about.

  13. OjaiEconomyGroup says:

Jim Rogers, he of the pink bow tie, grossly overstates the amount of industry that the US government owns.

Regardless, citizens should invest and spend locally to strengthen and increase the resiliency of our local communities.
